Welcome to our exclusive retreat "Paths to Enlightenment," a unique opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience deep tranquility. During this week we will familiarize you with the essence of Tibetan Buddhism through meditation, teaching, and walks in silence in nature. Here's a detailed overview of the program and what to expect.

Daily Guided Meditations

Every day, after breakfast, we start with guided meditation sessions, aimed at accelerating the journey from head to heart. Different techniques from the 3 Buddhist traditions:

  • Theravada (Vipassana): This technique focuses on insight and deeply understanding the true nature of things.
  • Mahayana: The emphasis is on compassion and the realization of the path of the bodhisattva.
  • Vajrayana: Also known as the “Diamond Vehicle,” this form of meditation uses rituals and visualizations to make rapid progress on the path to enlightenment.

The meditation sessions are designed to give participants an initial intense experience of enlightenment, even if just a flash.

Teachings in Buddhist Philosophy

Throughout the week there will be teaching sessions discussing the pillars of Buddhist philosophy. Topics include:

  • The Four Noble Truths: Understanding suffering, the cause of suffering, the end of suffering, and the path that leads to the end of suffering.
  • The Noble Eightfold Path: Practical guidelines for ethical and mental behavior to achieve the goal of enlightenment.
  • Concepts of Karma and Reincarnation: Understanding how our actions have consequences and influence the cycle of rebirth.

Question sessions

To promote a deeper understanding of the topics discussed, there are interactive question sessions. This provides an excellent opportunity to clear your doubts and gain personal insight.

Shared Meals in Peace

We attach great importance to the experience of communal meals. These are enjoyed in silence, allowing you to fully focus on the taste, texture, and process of eating. This helps developed conscious gratitude for the meals and conscious eating habits and strengthens the bond between participants.

Meditative Walks

In the serene environment of the retreat we will take meditative walks. These walks are aimed at being fully present in the moment, with special attention to the nature around us. By consciously absorbing the natural beauty, you will find peace and inspiration.

Evening program and Silence

The evenings are flexible, depending on the wishes of the participants. Possible activities include joint meditations, or informal conversations. From 10 p.m. we ask for general observance of silence, so that everyone has the opportunity to rest and reflect.

Practical Information and Contribution

The contribution for this full week, including all meals and accommodation in very spacious double rooms with private bathroom, is 560 euros per person.

Location: The retreat takes place in a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by nature, allowing you to completely escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on your inner growth.
